This is one of my family’s favorite recipes.
The original calls for chicken breast that you fry so that is the way I presented the recipe,however, I use chicken parts and bake the chicken.
I also quad the recipe for my big family that gets together often for meals, and for the family members that work our business and eat at home.

2 cups Captain Crunch cerael crushed
1 1/2 cup Corn Flakes cereal crushed
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 cup milk or soy milk
2 pounds of chicken breast cut into 2 inch tenders
oil for frying
Coarsely grind the 2 cereals together, set aside.
Mix the egg with the milk, set aside.
Mix the flour, pepper, garlic, onion.
One at a time roll the chicken tenders in the flour mixture.
Then dip in the eggwash.
Then roll in the cereal until well coated.
Set aside on a piece of foil near the stovetop.
When all the pieces are done heat a skillet with oil to 325 F. Drop tenders in and fry for 3-5 minutes.
Serve immediately with mustard creole sauce.
If you want to bake your chicken.
Bake at 350F for 20 minutes for tenders.
For chicken parts with bones bake for one hour.
